Many of the award winning photographs and films you just saw were lit with prototypes of Formless, the light Fan Ping built for the way he shoots in caves.

Now it is made for every diver: 18,000 lumens of pure white light, a focused and a flood beam in one head, and neutral in the water.

Fan PingThe Artist

Underwater photographer and filmmaker. Born and raised in Beijing, now based in Atlanta.

Fan Ping founded Be Water Imaging to show the beauty of the underwater world to people through his lens. He is a technical and cave diving instructor, and his work is built on complex lighting in overhead environments, where there is no daylight to borrow and every beam has to be carried in.

His photographs join artistic composition with wild places. He is a Canon contracted photographer and has worked as a photographer for Discovery Channel.
